Former Love Island winner Ekin-Su CülcüloÄlu is urging members of the public to help relief efforts following the devastating earthquake that hit parts of Turkey and Syria.
The 28-year-old British-born TV personality - who is of Turkish descent - has so far donated money to the British Red Cross and taken part in an appeal video for the organisation.
The Dancing On Ice star has also vowed to do “anything I can,” and hopes to be able to travel to the areas affected to help more “as soon as the opportunity is given to me.”
Appearing on Sky News, the reality TV favourite also revealed she has family caught up in the disaster.
“It’s honestly so heartbreaking because it’s my heritage, I’m Turkish so I’ve got so many friends and family out there,’ she told the news outlet.

“I have members of my family who have experienced the shake. They’ve been outside, they’ve been sleeping outside.
“It’s scary because it is people who are close to me.”
She also urged others to donate what they could and said “we need people to save those people that are buried under the ground.”
More than 11,000 people are estimated to have been killed since the 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit in the early hours of Monday.
