Ex Love Island star Dami Hope slammed Olivia Hawkins after she confronted Kai Fagan in the South African villa in scenes on Wednesday night.
The former couple were at odds in the wake of a game on Tuesday night, which left Olivia questioning why Kai had not named her as the most untrustworthy person in the villa.
Olivia said she was ‘shocked’ he had instead chosen Claudia Fogarty, as Kai insisted: “I just want to squash the beef, that’s it.”
The strange scenes, which equally left ITV2 viewers at home baffled, prompted 2022 Love Island finalist Dami to tweet about Olivia.
He wrote: “Olivia moving like Joe Goldberg she needs to leave Kai alone,” referencing the notoriously unhinged star of the Netflix hit show You.
Love Island viewers similarly took to Twitter to share their thoughts, as one penned: “You’re telling me that Liv’s angry that Kai DIDN’T pick her as least genuine.
“Somebody book that woman a therapy session because she is truly obsessed.”
“This girl had confrontations with everybody … you’re the problem!” a second wrote.
Another added: “I know movie night is coming so can the producers just give a blow by blow about all the backstabbing thing’s Olivia has done.”
The scenes came ahead of Love Island’s Movie Night return, which was teased at the end of Tuesday evening’s show, after days of pleading from eager ITV2 viewers.
The iconic segment sees the Islanders watch a variety of clips from the show, which they have never been privy to and never failed to spark drama in the villa.
Movie Night’s to screens on Wednesday evening was teased ahead of the show in a first look clip, which showed Ron receive a shock text message, sending a flurry of activity through the villa.
Ron read aloud: “Islanders, it’s time to get glam hit the red carpet and grab some popcorn as tonight it’s Movie Night #Blockbuster #ThrillerInTheVilla.”
As news hits the Villa, a stunned Tanya says: “No,” before Shaq asked: “Is there anything you want to tell me?”
The Islanders were then seen in the clip walking down the villa garden red carpet to sit within their boys and girls teams.
Each side faced a pop quiz of questions to earn the right to pick a clip, with the options for the first film for the girls including Free Will-Y, The Fast and the Curious and No Time To Kai.
Love Island confirmed the return of the fan favourite part of the show at the end of Tuesday evening's episode, as voiceover star Iain Stirling said: "Tomorrow night" and a 'Movie Night' sign appeared alongside the familiar trumpets of the 21st Century Fox sound logo.
