Ex-Leeds United target and World Cup star made a transfer 'priority'

Leeds United Josko Gvardiol World Cup RB Leipzig Bundesliga EPL Real Madrid

Real Madrid will reportedly make RB Leipzig and Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol their main priority, according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Alfredo Pedulla. Gvardiol has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona.

However, Real Madrid are set to launch a €90 million bid in order to beat the growing competition to his signature.

Leeds United were involved in a tug-of-war with RB Leipzig when the Croatian defender was just 18 years of age in the summer of 2020.
