Ex-Islander Amy Hart has given fans an insight into what life in the Love Island villa is really like.
The 29-year-old went on the show in 2019 and has been answering fans questions on TikTok since this year's season aired last week. There was one question in particular which she said she gets asked a lot.
Fans wanted to know what the female islanders did when they get their period. Obviously, mother nature hitting while on holiday can be a huge worry for a lot of women, however, Amy shared that the girls had to "just get on with it."

She said: "I’ve heard this so many times. I don’t really understand what you think I'm going to say, like we’re segregated in another room, only allowed in black bikinis. We just get on with it, like you would do if you’re on holiday.”
Amy added her own experience of dealing with periods in the villa as she said: "I personally ran my pill packs together because I didn't want to have a period while I was in there and the doctor was like, ‘Yeah that’s not going to work’ and I was like, ‘It will, it will’. And it did work… until it didn’t. But yeah, you just get on with it."
While some fans disagreed in the comments and said that they wouldn't be able to just get on with it, Amy was understanding as she captioned the clip: "I understand everyone is different and they’d make allowances I'm sure. I was just talking about my experience and meant we weren’t banished."
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 on Sunday, June 12
