Former Hearts star David Templeton has his eyes on a RETURN to football.
The ex-Scotland Under-21 cap confirmed his retirement from the professional game last November at the age of 32 due to injury.
Templeton, who also turned out for Rangers and had a stint with Burton Albion, hung up his boots while at Hamilton and has since been helping out with coaching.
He is currently assisting with the Under-16's at the Scottish Championship side as he helps mould the next crop of top talents at Accies.
But a stunning return to football could be on the cards for the ex-Hearts man as he looks to get back involved at part-time level after revealing the injury that forced him to hang up his boots may well be something different.
Speaking exclusively to Edinburgh Live Sport, he said: "I am helping out with the Under-16s at Hamilton at the moment.
"We are doing well to be honest. We've played 11 games and won nine and lost two.
"I think we will be right up there in terms of the league. The boys are flying and we have some good players and playing some nice football.
"It's enjoyable when you see the kids getting better and it makes you want to keep doing it.
"It's a way to stay in football. I think I may look to go back part-time so I need to manage it with that in terms of hopefully getting back and playing.
"So I will need to make sure it works in with that as well.
"The injury that I retired with might actually be something different from what I initially thought so it might not be as bad as I first thought, so I could potentially get back to part-time football.
"I am going to look into it just now. If I can, I would do that.
"The hope is it is not as bad as first feared and I can get back playing.
"Then I will have to put myself out there and see if anybody wants me."
