When the Atlanta Falcons traded Matt Ryan away during the 2022 offseason, it appeared they were sending him to a better situation with a championship-caliber Colts team.
The move to Indianapolis ended up being a disaster for Ryan, who was benched twice last season as the starting QB for the Colts. The former No. 3 overall pick was later released by the team and he eventually took a job in the broadcast booth for CBS.
Fans will get a first-hand look at Ryan in his new gig when the Falcons take on the Washington Commanders in Week 6. The former league MVP is set to call Sunday’s game from the broadcast booth, along with Tiki Barber, A.J. Ross and Andrew Catalon.

Ryan should be able to provide some decent insight about the Falcons organization and head coach Arthur Smith. Despite being traded, Ryan has remained friendly with the organization.
He even stopped by during training camp over the summer to visit with his former teammates and coaches. Sunday’s game kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET in Atlanta.
