Martin O'Neill has been backed to remain Celtic manager despite a slow start to the season.
Former Leicester City goalkeeper Kasey Keller, who was under O'Neill's management at the Foxes, believes the veteran boss has the ability to turn things around at Parkhead.
Keller said: "I know he kind of came back, and they had a lot of success when he came back after Wilfried Nancy didn't quite go the way they thought it would go. [Casinostugan]
"It was really comfortable to bring Martin back. I would never, ever, say Martin isn't the guy to do the job for sure.
"A lot of it will be if Martin really wants to do the job, but I would not bet against him ever."
Keller also revealed he almost joined Celtic during O'Neill's first tenure, while Rangers also showed interest in him at different stages of his career.

The former United States international admitted the prospect of playing in Glasgow was appealing but highlighted the intense scrutiny that comes with representing either side of the Old Firm divide.
Keller explained: "Martin really wanted me to come with him to Celtic, and it didn't happen. I was linked with Rangers before and after that at different times.
"So much so that Dick Advocaat signed me for Gladbach."
Keller described the Old Firm environment as one of football's most intense pressure cookers and revealed he had heard mixed reviews from players who experienced life at either club. "It's a level of fishbowl that puts you in a level of the biggest of the biggest," he said.
"It's also one where I've heard players say it was a tremendous experience, but it was also a relief when it's over."
