Ex-Emmerdale star Max Parker on prospect of returning to the ITV soap

Former Emmerdale star Max Parker has told fans of the prospect of him returning to the ITV soap.

As fans know, Max, 28, played Luke Posner in Emmerdale between 2019 and 2021. In Emmerdale, he was the son of Wendy Posner.

We recently reported Max will be starring in a new show which is likely to be seen as the next Bridgerton - the new Netflix programme is called Blood, Sex and Royalty. As reported by the Express, Max said: “I’m a person of once you’ve finished a chapter, you finish it.

“I love moving on to different things and the reason why I’m an actor is so that I can do different things all the time.” He added “So, at the minute, I don’t think I would go back.”

This might come as a disappointment to Emmerdale fans. Away from the ITV soap, you might recognise Max from Casualty, World on Fire and Cobra among other shows.

Blood, Sex and Royalty will explore the early days of King Henry VIII, played by Max, and his turbulent marriage with Anne Boleyn. Previewing his new role, Max posted on Instagram: “When life gave me lockdown lemons and an opening in my diary, I was so grateful this came up. And I got to play the OG British bad boy himself.

“Blood, Sex and Royalty comes out on Netflix (November 23) so go check it out. Big thanks to @netflix @netflixuk and @nutopiatv.”
