Ex-Emmerdale star Charley Webb defiant after dyeing six-year-old son Bowie’s hair blue

Former Emmerdale star Charley Webb is defiant after dying her six-year-old son Bowie’s hair blue.

The ex-soap star shares three kids with her former Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden - Buster, 11, Bowie, six, and Ace, two - and she revealed an alarming new update with her fans on social media.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Charley shared a sweet snap of her son, as she told her 561,000 followers she had dyed Bowie’s hair blue.

In the post on her Instagram Stories, the youngster can be seen sticking his tongue, alongside proud mum Charley, who captioned the photo: “Blue hair, don't care.”

The snap shows Bowie, who Charley welcomed in December 2015 wearing a red checked shirt, as his shoulder-length hair tinged a hint of silvery blue.

Her sweet post comes after she shared a terrifying update with her fans, as she revealed her and Matthew’s youngest son Ace had been rushed to hospital following an accident.

Charley then shared a picture of the tot with a cast on his arm, watching Peppa Pig in the car on his way home from his hospital dash, as the actress shared details of the incident.

“Someone fell off the trampoline and broke two little bones,” she wrote.

Charley and Matthew were also let stricken when Ace was whisked to hospital after he began to feel unwell at home, and needed emergency treatment.

“So we've had a stressful few days. Ace has been poorly since Friday, being sick, on and off, but he's just been really lethargic,” she said in February.

“And then on Saturday, he took a turn for the worse and we had to get him to hospital. It's been really scary. Ambulance, everything,” Charley explained.

“There's nothing worse than when your kids are poorly.”
