Marc Reynolds was a character in Emmerdale played by actor Anthony Lewis, he made his first appearance on the long running ITV soap in 1999 and moved on in 2002, returning briefly in 2007 for the funeral of his on screen grandfather Len.
Marc Reynolds is the son of Sean and Angie Reynolds and the brother of Ollie Reynolds. The character arrived in the village in June 1999 along with his family.
Marc and his brother Ollie began attending school in Hotten and befriended fellow students Andy and Robert Sugden and Donna Windsor.
Arguably, his biggest storyline was Marc losing his virginity to Donna Windsor - they were caught out by Viv Windsor.
Marc and his friends, Ollie, Eve, Donna, Andy, Robert and Katie Addyman went on a night out in Hotten. They went to a nightclub and when they missed the bus back, they stole a car so they could come back.
On the way they ran over their headmistress Jean Strickland and killed her. They all hid the evidence and went on with their lives but eventually Marc confessed and went to jail. When he got out of jail, he went to live with his father and only returning briefly for his grandfather’s funeral.

The entire family was axed from the show four years later when Stephen McGann decided to leave his role as dad Sean, as the producers decided the family wouldn’t work without him.

Career
Anthony Lewis is now 39 years old, he has had a long and colourful showbiz career having burst on to our screens as a youngster.
He started acting when he was nine years old and has had various roles in different television series. Anthony has featured in shows such as Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost, Cracker and Girl's Night.
He had regular roles on Children’s Ward and Adam’s Family Tree before he went on to appear as Marc Reynolds in Emmerdale for three years.
After leaving Emmerdale, the actor performed in Broken Voices at the Tristan Bates Theatre in London. Other work includes appearances in the television series Dalziel and Pascoe and Respectable, as well as the film Boy A and a starring role in the science-fiction series Torchwood as as the young World War I soldier Tommy Brockless.
Other TV appearances include The Syndicate, Casualty, Holby City and Ackley Bridge. He also performed across the UK as Lomper in the 2016/2017 UK Tour of The Full Monty.
Outside of acting, Anthony Lewis also provides continuity announcements for BBC One and BBC Two.
Family life
Anthony isn't the only one with talent in his family, he has two brothers, Chris Lewis and actor Matthew Lewis, who is best known for his iconic role as Neville Longbottom in the world-famous films, Harry Potter.
In 2019, Anthony married his long term girlfriend Samantha and the two share a son together named River Lewis.
He is very active on social media and regularly shares a glimpse of his personal life with his 4,089 followers.
His wife Samantha is a Birth and Postnatal Doula, the supportive husband recently shared a post promoting her company and upcoming podcast.

Anthony Lewis was previously engaged to Big Brother star Laura Carter between 2014 and 2015.
