Helen Flanagan opens up on 'life being hard' as single mum

Former Celtic wag Helen Flanagan has opened up on her life being significantly harder to juggle amid her split with Scott Sinclair as a newly single mum-of-three.

The ex-Corrie star outlined the reality of life lately during a Q&A session with her fans on social media during International Women's Day on Wednesday yesterday.

One follower pleaded with the 32-year-old for parenting advice as they admitted they were 'frazzled' with having three kids and asked her how she copes.

"I find being a mum hard," Helen admitted. "I feel tired most of the time and like I have to split myself into three."

She added: "But I just love them so much would never change it for the world and I just give them all I've got every day."

It comes as we recently reported the actress has taken to celeb dating app Raya following her split from Bristol Rovers winger Scott in October after 13 years together.

Helen and Scott share three children together - Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and one-year-old Charlie - and only last year revealed that they had purchased what would have been their 'forever' family home.

But all that came crashing down as they ultimately ended up co-parenting after parting ways when they hit a "rough patch" in the summer of last year.

During the raw and honest Instagram session with her fans, Helen also opened up about her struggles with hyperemesis when someone asked her for tips on how to manage it.

Helen suffered hyperemesis herself during pregnancy, excessive nausea and vomiting, with all three of her children, admitting it was "horrendous" and she was often reduced to tears.

She wrote: "Hyperemesis is awful. I am so sorry you're going through that. I took medication twice with Delilah and Charlie. I had hyperemesis every time and in each pregnancy it got so much worse.

"I was horrendous with Charlie and cried all the time, I moved back to my parents."

"You need as much help as you can and medical help," the star added.

But Helen remained positive on International Women's Day on Wednesday as she shared a snap of her in a stunning laced wedding dress in a throwback picture with her daughter Delilah.

A much younger Delilah, who is now four, was pictured cradled in her arms as the proud mum planted a kiss on her baby's cheek.

She wrote on her Instagram: "Happy International Women’s Day [heart]

"Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them [heart]."
