A bodyguard seen driving the Sussexes is a disgraced firearms police officer who was convicted of nearly throttling his wife to death, it has been revealed.

Pere Daobry, 51, was seen taking Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage to Euston station.

However in 2016 the bodybuilder was convicted at Colchester Magistrates Court in September 2016 of strangling his wife, Sarah Jay, until she passed out, according to Mail Online.
