Ex-Chiefs OL shares thoughts on Kansas City’s struggling offense

The Kansas City Chiefs offensive line has had its share of difficulties keeping Patrick Mahomes upright this season, and with the playoffs on the horizon, the unit doesn’t have long to get itself sorted out.

Despite Kansas City’s struggle in the trenches, one former Chiefs offensive lineman, Jeff Allen, has faith that the team’s front five will find its stride over the next few weeks.

In response to the news that veteran wide receiver Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown was cleared to practice this week after his stint on injured reserve, Allen shared his thoughts on Kansas City’s offensive woes.

Take a look at Allen’s tweet, which he posted in response to Brown’s official practice clearance on Thursday:

Allen played collegiately at the University of Illinois and was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2012 NFL draft. He spent time in Kansas City from 2012 to 15 and from 2018 to 2019 before his retirement.
