Boots is a popular high-street retailer for anything from toothpaste to makeup and even holiday essentials.
They also have a fantastic festive sale, which is set to be extended to January, reports Manchester Evening News. Boxing Day sales have came and gone, but those who have been patient may get their rewards.
The health and beauty store often extends their Boxing Day sale to a whopping 70 per cent off just weeks after the festive season. Boots often keep the date of this sale under wraps, but one ex-employee has a good idea of when it will launch.

Bethan, an ex-Boots worker, has said that the sale often launches on the third or fourth week of January. It typically launches on a Friday, and in previously, has been on the following dates:
2017 - January 20
2018 - January 19
2019 - February 1
2020 - January 31
Due to the pandemic, the 2021 sale was cancelled and replaced with a ‘pay day’ sale, and the 70 per cent off sale launched three months later in April when lockdown restrictions were lifted.
According to previous reports, the Boots sale was predicted to launch on Friday, January 28 in line with previous years. However, it actually went live on March 14 - around six weeks later than usual.
This may mean that 2023's sale at Boots could go live on Friday, January 27. This is less than three weeks away, but Boots have yet to confirm if the sale will go ahead as normal - or if it will be postponed like last year.
Brands in the sale include Remington, Soap and Glory, No7 and even Aveeno. The store has a half price sale already on - with great deals including up to half price on Oral B and plenty of hair and make-up trending products with cheaper price tags.
The store also has a code for their latest Baby Event reductions, too, where shoppers can use the code BABY25 to save 10 per cent when you spend £25 on selected baby and child products.
Here are Bethan's top tips as an ex-worker for Boots:
Check your local stores opening times - opening hours differ from store to store, so be sure to know what time yours opens so you can arrive in plenty of time
Get there early - in larger stores, queues can form outside the store ahead of the doors opening
Visit in advance - visit your selected store a week or so in advance to scout out where products are displayed so you know where to head on the day
Know what you want - have an idea of what you want in your mind so you don’t waste time browsing the aisles
Calculate costs in advance - if you know what you want, you’ll be able to work out 70% of the green sticker price ahead of checking out at the tills. This will avoid any surprises at the checkout because you filled your basket without considering the total
Sign up for an advantage card - the Boots advantage card offers four points for every £1 spent, which means that you can earn dozens of points during the sale which you can spend later in the year. Sign up for an advantage card here.
Also if there is still stock left in the spring, then items can be reduced by Boots to as much as 90 per cent off. You can shop all the newest deals online.
