Former Big Brother contestant Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has accused an Asda supermarket manager of “ruining” an old lady’s Christmas.
The reality TV star made the claims while sharing a candid photo of herself in tears on social media.
The 43-year-old said her emotional reaction showed the “reality of the pressure” on Christmas Day.
Earlier in the day, Aisleyne tweeted: “Wow...to think I tweeted nice things about @asda and now one of their managers as [single] handedly ruined my and a vulnerable old [lady’s] Christmas...I’m actually shaking in shock! Thanks guys.”
Her followers asked Aisleyne to explain how Asda spoiled the woman’s festive celebrations, but she declined to do so.
The model posted a photo of herself in her car three hours later, with smudged mascara and tears rolling down her face.
She wrote: “The reality of the pressure of Christmas...be kind to yourselves at this time. Don’t put too much pressure...wanted to share this to show if your feeling like me it’s OK and it’s normal and I live you. Be strong xx”
Aisleyne received support from friends and followers. One person said: “Such a worrying time for so many, and for so many different reasons.
“Buts it’s just another day remember that. Hope everyone has a nice day and enjoys it as much as they can. Merry Xmas to all.”
Aisleyne applauded Asda on December 10 for allowing kids to eat for £1 at their cafes for the rest of year, with no adult spend required.
The praise led the Asda service team to thank her on Twitter for the “lovely feedback.”
Aisleyne has admitted she’s been starting to panic in the last year over whether she will have children following several miscarriages and not freezing her eggs.
She told how she’d started weighing up her options, including using a sperm donor, fostering, adopting, or having a child with her gay best pal.
