During their visits, McGregor and Winstead opted for anonymity by donning caps and venturing out at night. For the most part, they successfully flew under the radar. However, McGregor jokingly acknowledged that some eagle-eyed Star Wars enthusiasts caught a glimpse of the Jedi Master and recognized him. In response, McGregor playfully winked at the observant fans, much to their delight.
The Scottish star also shared his excitement about reuniting with Hayden Christensen, who plays Anakin Skywalker, for the highly anticipated Disney+ series, 'Obi-Wan Kenobi.' McGregor remarked on the incredible scale of the production, noting that he had never seen so many people on a film set before. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to step back into his character's robes and film a thrilling lightsaber duel.
Reflecting on his relationship with Christensen, McGregor fondly recalled their close bond during the shooting of the prequel trilogy.
