It’s been a big week in Dublin for rock bands as Fall Out Boy, Weezer, Green Day and Guns N' Roses have played Marlay Park. Tonight Los Angeles born the Red Hot Chili Peppers are taking the same stage. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the sold out concert.
Getting there: MCD says to leave at least two hours to travel two and from the venue. There is no overnight or early queueing allowed. It recommended that fans use public transport if possible to get to and from the venue. Marathon Coaches are running a regular bus service from Custom House Quay in Dublin city, which can be booked in advance from marathoncoaches.ie. You can also buy a return bus ticket from Dundrum Luas Station, as well as a Park and Ride ticket from Dundrum Town Centre. If you're getting a lift to or from the gig, the drop off and collection point will be at Our Lady’s School car park on Ballinteer Avenue. Be aware that there will be road closures on the roads surrounding Marlay Park after the event has taken place if you're getting picked up afterwards. There is limited parking in Marlay Park but it must be booked in advance for a €25 fee until sold-out.
Tickets and entry: It’s recommended that to avoid delays fans should have their tickets downloaded, printed or saved ahead of time. Ticket collection and guest-list facilities will be located at the Grange Road and College Road entrances.
