Can we expect a Disney Plus price increase soon? Or is one on the way later this year? They're good questions, especially because we have so many streaming services vying for our cash - and hiking their own prices - nowadays. It helps to be prepared ahead of that nasty surprise.
To help you cut through the noise, the GamesRadar+ team and I (who have years of experience covering the subject) are on hand to explain everything you need to know about a Disney Plus price increase. That includes our best guess at when one will happen, and how much it might go up by.
Short on time? Here's the TLDR: US, UK, and Canadian viewers have had a price hike for Disney Plus in fall over the past couple of years, so I doubt they'd get another before the end of 2026 (which means securing a membership during the annual Black Friday Disney Plus deals and locking in a lowered rate might be a good idea). As such, you've got plenty of time to enjoy the streaming service at its current rate. As for Australia, a Disney Plus price increase will likely occur in early 2026 judging by previous trends.
New Disney Plus price

We just received a Disney Plus price increase as of October 2025 in the US and UK, November for Canada, and February for Australia, which means I doubt we'll end up being saddled with another until the fall of next year. That at least gives us a bit of breathing space, particularly if Black Friday provides its usual discounts.
How much will it increase by in 2026, though? Seeing as knowledge is power, here's everything that changed (and by how much) in your region during the last price hike.

Expert analysis
I've been covering Disney Plus since before it launched in 2019, and while its price remained stable in the years after release, costs have been creeping up in the last 24 months or so across the board. Although the time those prices increase tends to vary (the US, UK, and Canada all experienced hikes in fall, while Australia got its last bump in February), no region remains unscathed.
What does that mean for the future? Are we likely to get another price hike for 2026? Almost certainly, if previous patterns are anything to go by. The US, UK, and Canada have consistently had increases toward the end of the year, so I'd be surprised if that wasn't the case again moving forward. However, I doubt we'd see anything more than a $2 / $3 increase based on the streaming service's current trajectory. There's a chance certain tiers will stay the same, too; not all subscriptions went up in 2025.
Today's best deals

Want to save as much as you possibly can? You won't find a cheaper offer than this short of Black Friday deals, though bear in mind that it features ads. You can pay a little more to avoid them.

If you're hunting down maximum value, this is your best bet. It gets you three streaming services basically for the price of two, and offers a wealth of variety in terms of content.

Much like the Max bundle, this offer provides you with three streaming services for what may as well be the price of two. It adds sports into the mix as well, so has something for everyone.
Next Disney Plus price increase

US, UK, and Canadian fans have all had a Disney Plus price increase within the last few months, so more changes for them in the near future are unlikely. Basically? You don't need to worry about paying more for your Disney Plus sign-up any time soon if you're based in North America or the United Kingdom.
It's a different story in Australia, though - those down under tend to get price hikes around February, so are staring down the barrel of another hike in 2026.
How to save money

There isn't a lot we can do to avoid Disney Plus price hikes when they arrive, but you can save money if you act before they land. So long as you get an annual bundle (available below) the day before the price increase comes into effect, you'll be able to save yourself plenty of money on an annual membership. Better still, you won't have to deal with any changes until the following year. That really is the best you can hope for.
Otherwise, you'll need to take advantage of Disney Plus bundles. You can get a look at those via our dedicated guide, or in the deals roundup below.
