Madonna is now recovering at home after being rushed to hospital with a severe bacterial infection.
The Material Girl hitmaker, 64, was inundated with messages of support after being hooked up to a ventilator and intubated in the intensive care unit.
However, one person who was missing from the crowd of well wishers was her rumoured boyfriend Josh Popper.
The boxer has kept quiet about Madonna's scary hospital dash and has instead taken to Instagram to share a number of promotional shots of himself which were taken at New York University.
He also shared some shots of himself fighting in the ring.

Who is Madonna's 'boyfriend' Josh Popper?
Madonna is thought to be dating Josh Popper, a New York City-based heavyweight boxer and coach. He has competed in a number of official fights, but is currently yet to turn pro.
Josh attended the New York City-based heavyweight boxer and coach before co-founding his boxing studio, Bredwinners, in February 2021.
Before his boxing career, he appeared as a special guest on the reality TV show Summer House.
During his time on the Bravo series, Josh worked as the personal trainer to Samantha Feher.
Aside from boxing, Josh has also dabbled in American football and tried out for the Arizona Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts. He failed to make it to their final teams.
How did they meet?
Josh and Madonna are thought to have met at his Bredwinners gym after the superstar singer took her son, David Banda, to train there.
Back in February, Josh shared a picture on Instagram which showed Madonna hiding behind his muscly arms.
A month later, Madonna shared a snap of herself kissing the athlete, captioning the post: "Killers who are partying."
Neither Madonna not Josh have publicly commented on their rumoured romance.

At 64 years old, Madonna is more than three decades older than Josh, who is 29.
While some fans have raised their eyebrows at their age-gap romance, he's not the first younger man Madonna has dated.
Before Josh, the singer was in a three-year relationship with dancer Ahlamalik Williams, whom she also shared a 35-year age-gap with.
She also dated then 26-year-old Timor Steffens in 2014.
Speaking to ABC News about her young lovers, Madonna said: "I didn't choose to, you know, I didn't write down on a piece of paper, 'I'm going to have a relationship with a younger man'."
She added: "I've never really lived a conventional life, so I think it's quite foolish for me or anyone else to start thinking that I am going to start making conventional choices."
