Everything we know about Garmin’s Fenix 9 ahead of its release

Garmin has launched the Fenix 9, the latest iteration of its flagship smartwatch aimed at “serious athletes and adventurers”.
The new device features a screen twice as bright as the Fenix 8, improved maps, and new training tools.
The launch brings a first look at Garmin’s new “Epic” feature, which is aimed at making it easier to share long adventures.
Additional capabilities include a microphone and speaker for virtual assistants, and app integrations like WhatsApp and Spotify.
The Fenix 9 goes on sale on 28 August, with UK pricing starting at £849 and rising to £1,200 for the largest, pro version with Garmin’s satellite messaging features and solar charging.
