A Merseyside Police press conferences discussed a number of new details in the ongoing investigation into a schoolgirl's murder.
On Thursday, September 1, officers held a conference at their Rose Hill headquarters, on Cazneau Street, where they disclosed new information in the ongoing Olivia-Pratt Korbel murder investigation. The schoolgirl was at home with her mum and older siblings in Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, when a gunman burst through the door at around 10pm on Monday, August 22.
The killer was in pursuit of 35-year-old Joseph Nee, who forced his way into the house after noticing Olivia's mum, 46-year-old Cheryl Korbel, open the door to see what was going on outside. Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen spoke to members of the media to update them on the tireless investigation to catch the schoolgirl's killer.
