Everything coming to Prime Video in September 2022 - including Rings of Power

This September, Amazon Prime Video is set to gain a raft of new content, from reliable comedy classics like Legally Blonde (2001) and Role Models (2008), to blockbuster new content like the much-anticipated Lord of the Rings spinoff The Rings of Power (2022).

After a rough few months for content giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime, where biting inflationary costs have seen millions of people drop their streaming subscriptions, bosses at Prime Video will be hoping that the $465m (£395m) Rings of Power could be a big enough draw to draw customers back.

Prime subscribers looking for non-Hobbit related dramas can expect smash-hits like Skyfall (2012) and 1917 (2019) to join the platform this month, while original content like British Drill series Jungle and an updated American version of Austrian horror Goodnight Mommy (2014) will join Prime's growing roster of homegrown films and shows.
