Viewers of Liverpool's FA Cup third round replay with Wolves on Tuesday night were left surprised and in fits of laughter as sex noises could be heard during the pre-match build-up.
The embarrassing gaffe occured while BBC presenter Gary Lineker was trying to bring in colleague Alan Shearer for further analysis before kick-off. The host addressed the moment at the time as he told viewers: "I don't know who is making that noise but Alan Shearer is on the commentary gantry.
He went on to add: "It is toasty in this studio, it is noisy as well I am not sure if someone is sending something on somebody's phone."
