All eyes were on the two men of the hour yesterday as Wrexham FC beat Boreham Wood and secured promotion to League Two last night. One surprising upshot of this emerging Hollywood tale (literally) is the number of celebrities descending on the north Wales town of Wrexham.
If you thought you'd seen it all when Ant-Man star Paul Rudd joined fans in the pub before the crucial kick off on Saturday, then think again. Because while Rudd was spotted drinking beer and singing songs with the Wrexham supporters in The Turf Pub, little attention was given to another famous face in the melee.

Another Hollywood star, film director Joe Russo, was in the thick of the action but managed to stay under the radar. But some were keen to point out the director - who has directed many Marvel films including Avengers and Captain America films - deserved some recognition too. Some fans on social media are pointing out that the Marvel director was also in attendance while all the limelight shone on Rudd.
Replying to a video saying that the Ant-Man actor was at Wrexham, one person on Twitter wrote: "Put some respect on Joe Russo's name please."
That same Twitter user added on a second video: "It's mad that Joe Russo was right there...only the director of multiple Marvel films and no one bothered to mention him."
Meanwhile, a second person remarked: "That’s Joe Russo there too! One of the directors of Avengers."
Russo and Rudd's Wrexham appearance comes after fellow Hollywood star Will Ferrell was spotted in the same pub in February.
Russo, 53, has directed four Marvel films with his brother Anthony Russo. These are Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
