Kate wore an ivory Alexander McQueen gown, complete with intricate silver embroidery depicting flowers from each of the four home nations and a Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen headpiece with silver bullion, crystal, and silver threadwork three-dimensional leaf embroidery.
Penny Mordaunt, who could be seen carrying the jewelled Sword of State as part of her role as lord president of the privy council, wore a teal dress with matching cape, complete with a Jane Taylor headband embroidered with a gold fern pattern.
