'Everyone knows' - Thierry Henry convinced of Jude Bellingham's next club amid Liverpool interest

Thierry Henry is adamant 'everyone knows' Jude Bellingham wants to become a Liverpool player.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Bellingham continues to be linked with a summer move away from his current employers and has emerged as a target for a number of major European sides, including the Reds.

Liverpool will have to smash their record transfer fee to stand any chance of recruiting the 19-year-old at the end of the campaign, with Dortmund expected to demand in excess of £100m for their prized asset. Manchester City and Real Madrid are the two clubs expected to offer the strongest competition to the Reds in the race to sign the teenager, though Henry is of the view Bellingham has already made up his mind when it comes to his next home.

Discussing Paris Saint-Germain's failing transfer model and the need to have players who truly wish to represent the French giants, the Arsenal legend made reference to Jurgen Klopp's standout summer target. Speaking to CBS, Henry said: "If you go and get Randal Kolo Muani, Marcus Thuram and players like that, that will love to play for Paris Saint-Germain - you know, like Bellingham wants to play for Liverpool. Everyone knows that, right?

Reacting to this statement, fellow pundit Jamie Carragher began to grin before stating: “I hope so!” The Liverpool legend then shared his own thoughts on PSG's failings in Europe, advising Kylian Mbappe to leave the Ligue 1 side for the sake of his career.

"I mean, to be honest, I'm delighted Paris Saint-Germain have gone out, said Carragher on CBS' Champions League coverage. "I just don't like the whole set-up, everything about it. It's not a team. It's just a mess. Five years out of seven they have gone out at the last-16. They spend more money than anyone, they've got the best players in the world. It's brilliant because it just tells you how important it is to be a team. I think that's really important in football. We love individuals within a team and that's not a team. But honestly, Kylian Mbappe has got to leave that club."
