Spotify Wrapped 2025 is here and the entire Internet is obsessing over their listening ages. Inside the Spotify app, Listeners can find collections of the songs they listened to the most this year, the artists that dominated their playlists, and podcasts that kept them company through a long and desolate 2025. But, the biggest draw is definitely the listening age feature in Spotify Wrapped.
Over the years the Wrapped feature has come to signify the end of every year. 2025 is no different in that regard, with so many respondents posting their results on social media. Spotify itself encourages fans to share their findings and bond with other users over collected shared interests. It’s always fun to see what your friends are listening to, And how slightly embarrassing their musical tastes might be.
Here’s how Spotify describes the new Listening age feature: “This story compares your musical tastes to others’ in your age group, looking at the release years of the tracks you listen to most.”
Spotify Wrapped Listening Ages 2025

Listening Ages show off how old the music you’re listening to is. Rather than being a reflection of how old the user might be, the feature is an easy way to catalog where music fits on different timelines. For example, you can have an older user that only listens to pop divas and even music introduced in the last 12 months. Or, you could easily imagine a younger listener who is obsessed with 1950s music or soul music that drives that listening age way far down.
To wit, having a really low Spotify Wrapped Listening Age can be the mark of an older user. (They still have their fastball when it comes to the lace and pop culture.) Or, a younger music fan with a hefty Listening Age? They reflect a wide variety of different bands and time periods in that user’s repertoire.
Spotify’s whole thing with Wrapped is to turn all that listener data into fun little bits. So you’ll share it all over the web. It seems like 2025 has been successful on that front. Here, what the music streamer had to say about that whole effort.
They wrote, “This year, we’ve kept the Wrapped classics you love and added nearly a dozen new and updated ways to dig deeper into the voices and stories that shaped your year. We’re also bringing fans together with interactive features that transform your listening data into playful, shareable moments, and we’ve added new controls that let you adjust the speed of your experience and revisit specific moments without starting from the beginning.”
