Members of the Royal Family are rushing to Balmoral Castle to visit the Queen, who is said to be under medical supervision there.
Buckingham Palace has said that after being checked over by doctors this morning, Queen Elizabeth II is being kept comfortable at Balmoral. The 96-year-old monarch pulled out of a virtual Privy Council on Wednesday, a day after appointing Liz Truss as PM at her home in the Scottish Highlands.
A Palace spokesperson said: "Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral."

Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princess Anne are all already there, and Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew, and Prince William are believed to either be en route or have recently arrived.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were due to attend the WellChild Awards ceremony in London on Thursday evening, but have changed their plans to travel to see the Queen. "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be travelling to Scotland", a spokesperson for the couple said.
Her Majesty travels to the estate in Aberdeenshire each summer, with members of her family invited to spend time with her while she is there. Balmoral Castle was handed down to her through generations of royals after being bought for Queen Victoria by Prince Albert in 1852.
