Pablo Hernandez

Perhaps the most important player under Bielsa in the Championship. Hernandez made Leeds tick and scored the crucial goal against Swansea to put the Whites on the brink of promotion.

Jack Harrison

Harrison had three season long loans, improving each season under Bielsa. He was then bought from Manchester City before this season began.

Phillips was transformed under Bielsa. Before Bielsa, he was seen as an average Championship midfielder but the Argentine made him a defensive midfielder and it was in that position that Phillips won the England player of the year for 2021 after a mercurial rise.

One of the few total failures during Bielsa's time. Brown struggled to ever get fit enough to feature and only made two short substitute appearances.

Casey made a handful of appearances, largely as a substitute as well as a start in the EFL Cup before moving to Blackpool.

Ian Poveda

Poveda arrived in January 2020 and made a small number of appearances late that season from the bench. Had a role as an impact sub in the Premier League before a loan to Blackburn at the start of this season.

Helder Costa

Robbie Gotts

After a run of being named on the bench but not coming on, Gotts start in the FA Cup against Arsenal in 19/20. He then played in the Championship, coming off the bench against Cardiff City but made no more appearances.

Mateusz Bogusz

There were high hopes for Bogusz but he had little chance to prove himself. Made only two appearances under Bielsa.

Junior Firpo

A £13million signing intended to replace Alioski. Firpo has struggled for fitness and form since joining the Whites.
