After going over the history of the Tennessee Titans’ first three selections in the 2023 NFL draft, we now move to their fourth, which comes in the fifth round at No. 147 overall.
Of course, the Titans don’t own a fourth-round pick this year thanks to the trade with the Atlanta Falcons that brought wide receiver Julio Jones to Nashville in 2021.
Since 2000, the Titans haven’t selected from this spot — but that might have been for the better, as the history at No. 147 overall over the past two-plus decades is not good.
However, that’s pretty much what you’d expect from any fifth-round slot, as it gets harder and harder to find good players the later the draft goes.
Without further ado, the list of players chosen at No. 147 overall in the NFL draft since 2000, a list that doesn’t include a single Pro Bowler.
Note: An asterisk denotes at least one Pro Bowl appearance, a plus sign denotes at least one All-Pro nod.
