The first wave of NFL free agency is in the books, where the Chicago Bears made nine moves to bolster their roster.
That included the additions of linebackers Tremaine Edmunds and T.J. Edwards, as well as guard Nate Davis, defensive end DeMarcus Walker, running back D’Onta Foreman, defensive tackle Andrew Billings and tight end Robert Tonyan, among others.
Still, the Bears are sitting in a great position after the first week of free agency, where general manager Ryan Poles can still add to build this roster. Chicago still has the most salary cap space in the NFL with $41.64 million, which gives Poles the ability to keep adding to this roster.
