Trevoh Chalobah has described lengthening his time with Chelsea as a "dream" after signing a contract extension with the Blues.
The 23-year-old last agreed a new contract in November 2021 but the club have shown their faith in him by extending that until 2028. The Blues hold an option to further extend that until 2029.
Only in the summer were clubs sounding the defender out over a loan move with game time proving difficult and Chelsea adding defenders to their ranks. But following an injury to Wesley Fofana, Chalobah has proved crucial for Graham Potter. The former Lorient loanee played all but 21 minutes against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup following Fofana's injury.
