Every former Georgia football player on the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have the most Georgia Bulldogs on their roster of any team in the NFL for a second consecutive season. The Eagles have invested a significant amount of NFL draft capital on former Georgia Bulldogs. Philadelphia spent recent first round picks on Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis and Nolan Smith.

The Eagles have five former Georgia Bulldogs on their active roster and one former Dawg on their practice squad. Many Georgia fans have a soft spot for Philadelphia due to the Eagles’ penchant for drafting Bulldogs.

Philadelphia is coming off a playoff appearance and should be a contender again in 2024. The Eagles rely on several Georgia Bulldogs on their defense.

Defensive lineman Jalen Carter

The Eagles selected Jalen Carter with the No. 9 selection of the 2023 NFL draft. Carter and his former teammate, Jordan Davis, wreck havoc along Philadelphia’s defensive interior. Carter recorded 33 tackles and six sacks during his rookie season with the Eagles.

Philadelphia drafted Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. Davis recorded 45 tackles and 2.5 sacks during the 2023 season with Philadelphia.

Edge rusher Nolan Smith

The Eagles drafted Nolan Smith with the No. 30 pick of the 2023 NFL draft. Last season, Smith recorded 18 tackles and one sack in limited playing time. He’s anticipated to have a much larger role in 2024.

Georgia defensive back Kelee Ringo fell to the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft. Ringo has the tools to be a starting defensive back in the NFL. Ringo totaled 22 tackles and one interception during his rookie season with the Eagles.

Wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint

Former wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint went undrafted in the 2024 NFL draft. Rosemy-Jacksaint signed with the Washington Commanders after the draft, but failed to make the Commanders’ 53-man roster. Now, he is on the the Eagles’ practice squad.
