Every confirmed team Chelsea can face in Champions League Round of 16 amid Graham Potter debut

Chelsea booked themselves a place in the Champions League Round of 16 with a 2-1 win over RB Salzburg. The Blues currently sit at the top of Group E on ten points, with a clash against fourth-placed Dinamo Zagreb at Stamford Bridge still to play.

With second-placed AC Milan on seven points, and third-placed Salzburg locking horns on the final day, Graham Potter's side have guaranteed qualification from the group. Only 11 other sides in the competition have done so, but only two other clubs have won their group with a game to spare as Chelsea have.

The 2022/23 UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw is scheduled for 11:00 BST on November 7 at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. There will be two seeding pots; one contains the eight group winners (seeded), and the other consists of eight group runners-up (unseeded).

Seeded sides will play away in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 and home in the second leg. No team can play a club from their group or from their own country, meaning Graham Potter's side won't have to worry about facing Manchester City just yet.

The round of 16 fixtures will be played on February 14/15/21/22, and March 7/8/14/15, 2023. So, with that being said, football.london have taken a look at all the sides which joined Chelsea in the first round of the Champions League knockout stages thus far.

Bayern Munich

The German giants have won each of their five Champions League group stage ties, topping Group C. Bayern have conceded just twice and, once again, look like a force to be reckoned with this season.

Benfica

Only a five-goal difference separates Benfica and PSG at the top of Group H. The Portuguese side face fourth-placed Maccabi Haifa in the final fixture, while the French side face Juventus, who need a result to clinch Europa League qualification.

Club Brugge

Club Brugge are top of Group B, with Porto sitting in second, Atletico Madrid in third and Bayer Leverkusen in fourth. The Belgian giants have surprised supporters this term and could be a dark horse that test Chelsea.

Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund held Pep Guardiola's side to a goalless draw on matchday five with an impressive display. While they're not armed with Erling Haaland anymore, they remain a formidable side that pose a threat to the Blues.

Inter Milan

Inter have finished second in Group C. Not quite Bayern, but the Italian side have shown their strength with Barcelona pushed into the Europa League.

Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp's side will be challenging for the top spot in Group A on the final day. Though, of course, being a Premier League club, Chelsea won't be facing Liverpool in the round of 16.

Manchester City

Erling Haaland led the Premier League champions to top of the pile. Though, of course, being a Premier League club, Chelsea won't be facing City either in the round of 16.

Napoli

One of just two sides to have a perfect record in the Champions League group stages after five clashes. The Italian giants have also scored more goals than any other side so far.

Paris Saint-Germain

PSG are unbeaten so far and must never be underestimated, with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the front three. Topping the group isn't guaranteed, so there's a chance Chelsea face the French giants if Benfica prevail in Group H.

Porto

Porto are guaranteed qualification after Atletico missed a penalty in stoppage time of matchday five. Top spot in Group B is still up for grabs, but Club Brugge will put up a good fight.

Real Madrid

The reigning Champions League winners. The Spanish giants sit top of the group and face Celtic in the final clash.
