Everton have released a statement urging supporters to stay off the pitch after more fans encroached onto the field of play in the aftermath of the win over Dynamo Kyiv at Goodison Park.
The final whistle saw a number of fans, the majority seemingly being children, run onto the field and approach a number of players, evading stewards as they went. This continued for a number of minutes until everyone was back in the stands and the organised post-match event could continue as planned.
Everton were charged with two breaches of FA Rule E20 following the win over Crystal Palace at the end of last season, which saw thousands run onto the field in a huge release of emotion after what was a stunning comeback to win 3-2 and secure the club's Premier League status.
