Everton host Liverpool this weekend in what promises to be an emotional day at Goodison Park.
The Merseyside derby is always a big occasion but it will be the last played at the iconic home of the Toffees before their move to a new stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock next season.
Sean Dyche’s side will no doubt love to go out on a high despite their struggles this season and Everton did at least ease their relegation fears by thrashing Wolves 4-0 on Wednesday evening.
Premier League leaders Liverpool, meanwhile, were held to an enthralling 3-3 draw with Newcastle.
While Arne Slot’s side remain in a brilliant position at the top of the table, the Reds have seen their lead cut to seven points by Arsenal and Chelsea. With the fixtures piling up thick and fast, keeping an advantage is of the utmost importance.
