Everton’s 2023/24 home kit, which celebrates a much-loved traditional element of Goodison Park and one of technical partner hummel’s most iconic designs, has been revealed.
Men’s, women’s and youth kits went on sale on Thursday morning and are available online at evertondirect.com or in store at Everton One and Everton Two. Infant and baby versions can be pre-ordered online and will be available in store from Saturday July 8.
For the first time in a decade, an Everton home shirt will feature a collar – one that pays homage to Goodison’s famous Archibald Leitch pattern on its trim. The same iconic design – a feature of Everton’s stadium since 1909 – is repeated on the shirt’s sleeves. The collar is also a nod to the classic hummel Denmark national team home shirt from their 1992 European Championship triumph, as part of a range of design inspirations marking the brand’s centenary year.
Winger Dwight McNeil, who took part in the 2023/24 home kit photoshoot, said: “I like what hummel have done with the kit, giving it a retro look and bringing elements of Goodison into it that I think fans will really appreciate. Goodison – and the fans – are obviously massive to us and I can’t wait to be wearing this shirt when the season kicks off.”
Allan Vad Nielsen, CEO of hummel, said: “This is a truly special year for hummel as we celebrate 100 years as a brand. Because of this, we wanted our kits to reflect the principles that have made hummel wear so distinctive during that time, while also staying true to the traditions we know Evertonians respect and cherish.
“We are proud to have created a look we believe reflects us as a brand but remains authentically Everton through elements inspired by the great Goodison Park.”
