Everton are struggling to make much headway in the transfer market, despite looking at various different targets.
James Tarkowski remains the only addition to the squad which narrowly avoided relegation and Blues fans are keen to see some more new signings soon.
Richarlison has left to join Tottenham for £60million and Everton are trying to work within their limited budget to do some business and avoid a repeat of last season's struggles.
Mirror Sport has the latest Everton transfer news, including updates on Morgan Gibbs-White and Jarrad Branthwaite.
Everton confident of landing Gibbs-White
The Boot Room carry a report from 90min that Everton are confident they can sign Morgan Gibbs-White from Wolves, despite having a £20million offer rejected.
Everton want to strengthen their attack and are targeting Gibbs-White, who scored 12 goals and made 10 assists on loan at Sheffield United last season.
They have reportedly had an offer of £20million rejected by Wolves, but are said to be optimistic about their chances of landing Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White, 22, wants to play regular Premier League football and Everton believe he could do that with them next season.
Branthwaite wanted by PSV
Sport Witness carry a report from Eindhoven's Dagblad that Everton's former director of football Marcel Brands is keen to sign Jarrad Branthwaite for PSV.
Brands signed Branthwaite for Everton from Carlisle in 2020 and the defender made eight appearances for the Blues last season.
Everton have signed James Tarkowski, which will limit Branthwaite's first-team chances next season and Brands wants to take the 20-year-old on loan.
PSV want to strengthen their defence and Branthwaite is said to be their No 1 target.
Everton in hunt for Spanish defender
Goodison News carry a report from Spain that Everton have rekindled their longstanding interest in Spanish defender Unai Nunez and are battling Celta Vigo to sign him.
La Voz de Galicia claim Athletic Bilbao are prepared to let Nunez go, prompting Everton and Celta Vigo to make their moves.
Everton have been credited with a long-term interest in Nunez, who missed training on Wednesday, going back to 2020.
Nunez, 25, made just nine appearances last season for Athletic and La Voz claims Celta Vigo are edging towards signing the centre-half.
