Dominic Calvert-Lewin wrote his name into Everton folklore when he scored the decisive goal against Crystal Palace on Thursday to spark wild scenes of celebration as the Toffees secured Premier League football at Goodison Park for another season.
Everton boss Frank Lampard can now begin planning in earnest for the 2022-23 campaign and will soon turn his attention to assessing his list of transfer targets and also given consideration to which players he wants to sell.
But he may have to do without Calvert-Lewin with the Blues hero wanted by Arsenal and Newcastle. Lampard has a decision to make on Calvert-Lewin's future and must decide whether to cash in on the England striker and use the money to strengthen elsewhere to persuade him to remain with the Blues.
