Everton are eyeing up Aberdeen kid Lewis Pirie after a stunning showing against Dundee United put Premier League scouts on alert.
The 15-year-old is viewed as one of the hottest prospects in the Pittodrie youth ranks and has been starring for the Under-16s this season. The young Dons thumped United 5-2 with Pirie the star of the show once again as he netted FOUR goals to advance his burgeoning reputation.
Scouts from Everton were in attendance and were impressed with the teenager. They are set to follow up their interest with an approach although know it won't be easy to pry him away with Aberdeen determined to keep him, viewing him as a first-team star in the years ahead. The Scotland youth striker is already on the radar of English rivals Brighton and Sheffield United.
The Scotland under-16 striker has already been brought up to train with Jim Goodwin ’s first-team this week. Pirie has also been selected for Scotland’s upcoming Victory Shield campaign.
