Everton supporters can have say on major boardroom decisions

Everton supporters are being encouraged to have their say on a Fan Advisory Board (FAB) to ensure voices are heard at the highest levels of the club.

The Everton Stakeholder Steering Group (ESSG) have developed a series of questions centred around the key areas of focus and the composition of the FAB.

They will be used to develop a Terms of Reference in the future that will set out aims and objectives for the organisation - as well as the process for electing its members.

The survey has been sent to all Season Ticket Members, Official Members and members of affiliated supporter clubs on the Blues' database.

Jazz Bal, Chair of the ESSG said: “I’d like to thank in advance all Evertonians for taking part in the survey.

"It’s an opportunity for supporters to share their views on how the new Fan Advisory Board can be as representative of the entire fanbase as possible, as well as have their say on the topics it should be focusing on when it meets with senior club executives and Board members in future.

"The feedback will inform the structure and process of the advisory board, which we aim to have in place before the end of this season.

"This is an important step in ensuring that fans’ voices can be heard at the highest levels, and I’d encourage all Evertonians to take a few minutes to provide their input."

The FAB is set to be established before the end of the 2021/22 season.

Fan representation at board level received 80% support and the creation of the FAB (supporter committee or custodian group) got 91% backing from the 10,000 Evertonians who responded to the club’s survey in the summer of 2021.

If any supporter hasn't been sent the survey but wishes to take part, they should complete the form at evertonfc.com/contactus; ensuring that the ‘Customer Number’ is populated correctly and the ‘Subject’ should state ‘ESSG Survey’.

The email has been sent to fans on Friday and the survey will close on February 28th.
