Everton Women star Toni Duggan has announced the birth of her baby daughter.
The Blues striker took to Instagram to announce the news that she gave birth to her daughter over the weekend. The 31-year-old announced that her baby, who has been named Luella, was born on Saturday.
In a post on Instagram, Duggan is on a hospital bed with her newborn daughter in her arms. The Everton star went on to add an emotional caption announcing the news.

“The night our lives changed forever…. Welcome to the world our gorgeous girl Luella, Born 25th March, weighing 6lbs 12oz - you’re a little dream my baby girl.. best feeling in the world," she wrote.
Former Everton manager Frank Lampard commented on the post to send his congratulations to Duggan. He wrote: “Congratulations Toni,” accompanied by a heart emoji.
Duggan returned to Merseyside to sign for Everton in September 2021. It was in September last year that she announced that she would miss the Blues’ Women’s Super League campaign after discovering she was pregnant during pre-season.
