Everton stance on Premier League points deduction claim outlined

Everton remain comfortable that they are not facing a Premier League points deduction over their finances.

An article published by the Daily Mail claimed that Everton risked a points deduction and are preparing to negotiate with the Premier League over their financial accounts amid fears they could become the first club to breach the top-flight's profit and sustainability rules.

However, the ECHO understands the Blues are not concerned about the prospect of a points deduction and have been collaboarative with the game's authorities, dealing closely with the Premier League over all their transfer activity for several years now.
