Everton set for shirt sponsor boost
Everton are hopeful of improving on their current shirt sponsorship deal next season.
The current deal with online car dealership Cazoo comes to an end at the end of this current season, with Everton deciding to invoke a break clause in the £10m per year deal just halfway through the two-year agreement, a decision that was taken before the turn of the year.

The ECHO understands that Everton have already lined up a potential replacement for Cazoo, with the club expecting to be able to generate a higher price for the deal than the one that is currently in place. The club have confirmed that improved offers from firms have already been received for the commercial opportunity.
In a statement to The Athletic earlier this month, Cazoo, who stated that they had been unable to agree terms on an extension, confirmed: "We can confirm that the Cazoo sponsorship of Everton Football Club will not continue after the end of the current season.

Carragher makes 'worst run club' claim
Jamie Carragher has offered a forthright opinion on Everton, branding them one of 'the worst run clubs in the country if not Europe'.
The former Liverpool centre-back, now a well-known television pundit with Sky Sports, was speaking alongside Gary Neville and Roy Keane during 'The Overlap Live' fan debate, in which supporters from each Premier League club are invited to discuss current burning issues with the panel. And when it came to Everton's battle against relegation, Carragher didn't hold back.
He said: "I think Everton are the worst run club in the country, probably one the worst run in Europe. They must be. They have to be. And that's not just because they've spent lots of money and it hasn't worked - that's happened before."
