Everton’s poor away form continued on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten 2-1 by West Ham at the London Stadium.
The Blues fell behind to Aaron Creswell’s free-kick after a bright start in the capital. The set-piece came as a result of a challenge by Mason Holgate.
However, Frank Lampard’s side hit back in the second-half thanks to Mason Holgate’s fine deflected effort. Holgate had initially been named on the bench, but was drafted in for the injured Donny van de Beek, who picked up a thigh injury during his side’s warm-up.

But after Alex Iwobi gave the ball away cheaply, Michail Antonio raced clear before seeing an effort saved by Jordan Pickford, but Jarrod Bowen was on hand to turn the ball home.
Everton were then reduced to 10-men after Michael Keane was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence. The Blues centre-back needlessly brought down Antonio.
The defeat leaves Everton three points above the relegation zone. Frank Lampard’s side are next in action on Wednesday when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor. And below is a look at Everton’s next six games in the Premier League, along with those around them in the table.
After Wednesday’s game against Burnley, Everton welcome Manchester United to Goodison Park next Saturday. The game is live on BT Sport.
Everton then welcome Leicester City to Goodison on Wednesday, April 20. Frank Lampard's side then make the journey across Stanley Park to take on Liverpool four days later.
The Blues then kick-off the month of May with a home game against Chelsea. Then it is an away clash against Leicester City a week later at the King Power.
