Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson might have signed a new contract at his boyhood club, but reports claim that Premier League clubs are set to test the Reds' resolve with offers later in the season.

Johnson penned fresh terms at the City Ground last month following his outstanding 2021/22 season. His 19 goals helped the club secure a return to the Premier League and reach the quarter finals of the Emirates FA Cup.

The 21-year-old had initially been considering moving on with just a year left on his contract, according to the Independent. The report adds that three Premier League clubs are now queuing up to start a bedding war for Johnson at the end of the season.
