Zan-Luk Leban 6
Made an excellent early save from Danny Mandroiu, whose free-kick from 20 yards was deflected in the opposite direction. Leban was able to shift his body weight, scrabble across and push wide for a corner. Couldn’t quite gather a tricky ball into the box ahead of the melee that led to the Lincoln penalty.
Kyle John 6
Made some important interceptions as he anticipated Lincoln’s efforts to switch play from left to right, sparking a few counter attacks as a result.
Joe Anderson 7
Alert defensively and tidy in possession. Was keen to step out from the back and tried to get Everton up the pitch during a difficult first half.

Reece Welch 6
Competed in the air well with Lincoln number nine Tom Hopper and made an important block from a Regan Poole cross just before he opened the scoring.
Mackenzie Hunt 6
Was made to work hard as Lincoln probed down the left. Made a vital back post clearance as Lincoln sought to make it 3-2. Poole’s clever touch took him between Hunt and Anderson for the hosts’ first goal. Made a great run into the box with minutes to go and was exasperated not to win a penalty after it appeared as though he was bundled over.
Isaac Price 7
This side’s reference point for his 65 minutes on the pitch. Composed in possession and always eager for the ball.
Seb Quirk 7
Sat alongside Price in front of the defence and their understanding of each other was clear as they tried to protect possession under pressure.
Owen Barker 6
Was largely stifled in the first half but was just getting into the game as the half-time whistle blew, winning a free-kick after bypassing a defender with a lovely touch. Replaced by Francis Okoronkwo at half time.
Stanley Mills 6
Was not afforded much space out wide in the first half as Everton were pushed back. Became more involved later on and saved his best for the final minutes when he forced a great save from Wright after breaking down the left and cutting inside pastv a clutch of defenders.
Tom Cannon 8
Put Everton ahead with a stunning strike from the edge of the area. Had the time to take the ball through on goal but his confidence is sky high and his finish was brutal. Minutes earlier he had turned provider for the equaliser after pulling off down the right and crossing to Okoronkwo.
Katia Kouyate 6
Struggled going forward as Lincoln did most of their attacking down his side - so his best work came defensively as he supported Hunt.
Francis Okoronkwo 8
Came on at half time and changed the game. Scored with a composed finish at the back post with one of his first touches and then played a delightful through ball to Cannon for Everton’s second.
