Jordan Pickford - 6
Nothing he could do about the goals Burnley scored and his distribution was no doubt somewhat affected by a swirling wind around Turf Moor throughout the 90 minutes. It wasn't often he was called on to make saves, but he did well to tip a Maxwell Cornet effort over the bar late on.
Jonjoe Kenny - 4
Cornet was providing a fair few issues down Everton's right flank, especially in the first half, and when Kenny did get up to support the attack at the other end of the pitch his final ball was often been wasteful. He was too easily beaten down his side for the equalising goal after the break and gave the ball away in the build-up to the winner with a needless shot at goal from 30 yards.
Ben Godfrey - 4
He had to become a real leader at the back for Everton in this match and he did it very well for the most part. However, what people are going to remember is his awful mistake in the lead up to the deciding goal of the match - and his positioning for the second goal of the game didn't cover himself in glory either.

Jarrad Branthwaite - 6
This was an interesting task for Branthwaite and one that he stood up to. He was man-marking Wout Weghorst for the majority of the match and never looked over-awed by the physical battle in front of him, while keeping his cool with the ball at his feet as you would well expect too.
Vitalii Mykolenko - 6
Perhaps struggled somewhat in the opening stages of this match, but certainly grew into proceedings as the 90 minutes went on. his defensive contributions in the second half were particularly strong and his attacking forays forward were highlighted by good work to win a penalty in the first half to put his side in front.
Mason Holgate - 6
Booked in the opening two minutes of the match which won't have helped any potential nerves surrounding his display. But, in all fairness, it didn't stop him being a combative presence in the middle of the pitch and an important player for his side to attack with the freedom they did in the second period.
Abdoulaye Doucoure - 5
Looked better than in recent weeks here, carrying the ball reasonably well and getting into dangerous advanced areas on occasion. However, it so often wasn't enough for his side, with some poor passes costing some attacks and some decisions holding the visitors back from being able to build on their strong positions.
Alex Iwobi - 7
Lost his marker at the back post to allow Burnley to score which was his only real mistake of the match once again. He played some really nice through-balls to the strikers throughout the game, carried the ball very well in the centre of the pitch, and again looked a creative hub for the Blues.
Anthony Gordon - 7
Once again setting the example for the rest of his side in terms of effort. That quality was rewarded with his sheer tenacity to win the first penalty to get Everton back into the match at a crucial point of the match. He gave absolutely everything to his performance and was substituted with hardly any energy left in his legs.
Richarlison - 8
Looked dangerous whenever he picked up the ball from the left flank with Roberts struggling to properly contain him. He crucially kept a cool head for both penalties too, but his missed a great chance on his left foot in the second half to potentially seal the game. How costly might that have been?
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 5
Was right up for the physical battle throughout the game, but realistically that only gets you so far. The Everton striker was hardly ever in good positions to score and only his hold-up play and closing down of the defenders proved useful to his team at Turf Moor.
