Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has seen his wealth fall by £300m over the last year, according to the latest rich list published by the Sunday Times.
The publication releases a ranking of the country's wealthiest individuals annually, with the Iranian-born billionaire being a regular figure featured over the course of his investment on Merseyside.
The list for 2022, published this week, puts Moshiri's wealth at £1.7bn - which is significantly lower than the £2bn listed in 2021.

That still, however, places him at 105th in the latest rankings, incidentally seeing him drop 23 places from 2021. The Sunday Times also details a look back on the year the 67-year-old has had, including distancing himself from long-term business partner Alisher Usmanov in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The 68-year-old has lost the use of some of his most highly prized assets thanks to sanctions being placed on him in recent months due to his relationship with Vladimir Putin. Usmanov remains 11th in the list, dropping from 6th in 2021, but has seen his wealth decrease by £3.406bn to see him now reportedly worth a lofty £10bn.
Moshiri stepped down from the board of USM at the beginning of March and Everton suspended all sponsorship agreements with companies related to Mr Usmanov. The Blues themselves over the course of the last year announced another significant set of losses in the latest accounts, with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic still hitting hard.
Their owner did, however, increase his stake in the club to 94% earlier in the year and has reiterated his support for a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock. Everton confirming their Premier League status on Thursday evening with a dramatic 3-2 win over Crystal Palace would also have been welcome news to the billionaire.
