Jordan Pickford starts between the sticks as he looks to bring his fantastic form from the end of last season into the current campaign. In front of him are five defenders again, perhaps hinting at the manager's system preference before the opening match of the campaign against Chelsea at the beginning of next month.
Nathan Patterson continues at right wing-back with Seamus Coleman still recovering from injury, with Mykolenko captaining the side on the opposite side. Keane, meanwhile, has come into the side to replace Yerry Mina.
Abdoulaye Doucoure partners Iwobi in central midfield, while Anthony Gordon and Gray flank Calvert-Lewin at the top end of the pitch. There's no place for Mina, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies or Jean-Philippe Gbamin in the Blues squad this evening.
